Simat Technologies Public Company Limited was founded on March 19, 1999 under the name of “Simat Mobile Computer Company Limited” with authorised capital of Baht 1 million. The Company started in Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) and software for warehouse management.
In 2005, the Company had increased the registered capital to Baht 25 millions and jointed investment with Grand-Flo Solution Berhad, a public listedcompany on the Bursa Malaysia stock exchange which evolved in Enterprise Data Collection and Collation Systems (EDCCS).
In 2006, the Company had increased the registered capital to Baht 75 millions and established “Simat Soft Company Limited” as a subsidiary(later, the name was changed to Skyfrog Company Limited, subsidiary of Terabyte Plus PLC.). The Company had transferred the entire softwaredeveloping business to Simat Soft which had obtained privileges from the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI).
December 12, 2007, the Company listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (MAI).
In 2008, the Company established “Simat Label Company Limited” as a subsidiary. This subsidiary has engaged in business of manufacturing and sales of sticker, label, barcode paper and related supplies. And the Company also expanded its business to Vietnam by investing in “Sino Trading and Service Corporation” as an associate. This associate has engaged in business of trading and Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC).
In 2009, the Company jointed investment with E-Tech IT SDN. Berhad, Malaysia, established “Simat E-Tech (Thailand) Company Limited” as a subsidiary (it was sold to its Malaysian CEO in 2019.). This subsidiary engaged in business of selling hardware and software for point of sales system (POS).
In 2013, after the Company canceled a contract with National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) for the rental of optical fiber cable network equipment in Nakornratchasima and Chiangmai, the Company have become a broadband internet (Fttx) service provider instead of a lessor in Chiangmai, Nakornratchasima, and Khonkaen from this year.
In 2018, the Company invested in “Hinsitsu (Thailand) Company Limited” as a subsidiary and transferred Simat Label Company Limited to be its subsidiary. Hinsitsu (Thailand) Company Limited has engaged in business of silk screen printing and later registered to be a public company.
In 2019, the Company won bidding Baht 2,248 millions of National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) for Universal Service Obligation (USO) project in Zone C, Northeast region 2.
In 2022, the Company established “Natural Power Energy Company Limited” as a subsidiary. This subsidiary has engaged in business of solar project, both power purchase agreement (PPA) and engineering, procurement, construction (EPC).
In 2024, the Company established “Simit Health Company Limited” as a subsidiary. This subsidiary has engaged in business of Health care by providing equipment such as Computed Tomography Scan (CT) scan, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), radiotherapy machine, etc. and services for the hospitals.
